About me

I'm one of the lucky people who get to use what they majored in at college every day. With the help of my anthropology training, I've successfully traversed cultures, borders, and languages, working in a variety of places: a publishing company, a social services office, a hospital, a campaign headquarters, a Chinese university, an ad agency, an online education company, a financial institution, and a small start-up. I love working with people from different backgrounds, belief systems, and points of view.

With this wealth of professional and personal experience, I am able to adapt to new places and people, understand multiple sides of an issue and solve problems in unique and innovative ways. I’m a professional learner, problem-solver, teacher, writer, researcher, and marketer — in other words, the quintessential anthropologist.
